

The City of Newport has formed a CSO Program Stakeholder Workgroup to advise the City on the CSO Program activities as well assist with the Program's public outreach efforts.
CSO Program Stakeholder Workgroup Mission Statement:
To review proposed plans and projects for the CSO Program and provide recommendations to the City about the potential benefits and impacts of proposed plans and projects to all users of the system.
To share CSO Program plans and project information within each stakeholder's organization to aid the City in its efforts to communicate CSO Program information.
To support the CSO Program's public education efforts through participation in CSO Program public education activities.
The CSO Program Stakeholder Workgroup membership is comprised of a representative and an alternate from the following groups and organizations appointed by the City Council:

The first meeting of the workgroup was held on February 3, 2011. Prior to the first meeting a memorandum providing background information on the City's CSO program was provided to the workgroup members.

Agendas , presentations and approved meeting minutes for the CSO Stakeholders Workgroup will be posted on this page. The next CSO Stakeholders Workgroup meeting is presently scheduled for Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 3pm in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor at City Hall.
