
The Purchasing Office is responsible for carrying out the requirements of the City's purchasing polices and procedures to ensure that the City will obtain quality goods and services from the lowest responsible bidders.
The Purchasing Office is also responsible for the timely submission of insurance claims to the Rhode Island Interlocal Risk Management Trust for damages incurred to City property, as well as handling the direction of all other types of claims for and against the City.
